Initial meeting to go over submission guidelines and to explore all aspects of the project and to address any questions the author may have. Our team with review the completed submission. If any changes are required or requested, we will send the author an electronic copy of those changes for the author’s review and approval. Once the author reviews and approves the proof, the project is then setup for production with the Espresso Book Machine. Print proof copy is developed and provided to the author. It is imperative that the author carefully examines the proof as we will not proceed to print further copies until we have written approval from the author that the proof is satisfactory. Once approved, printing can continue. One printed copy is included in this package. For additional copies, please review to our “per page fee? chart. Our team will work with you throughout this process and can be contacted anytime to answer questions via phone or email. **A minimum initial purchase order of 10 books is required with this package.		Includes ALL services provided in Option A plus: An ISBN (international standard book number) will be assigned to the book title. A barcode will be created on the back cover to coincide with the ISBN. We will apply for a copyright for the book (this may take up to 6 months to receive confirmation). We will sell your book in our retail store, Books Inn Inc www.books-inn.com for a minimum period of 90 days. We will sell your book on-line through our secure website. Royalties will be paid to the author on income generated from book sales (to be negotiated on an individual basis). A non-exclusive contract will be made between the author and the publisher stating all the terms and conditions of the agreement (in clear terms). The author will always maintain 100% rights to the book and may take the book to another publisher at anytime, for any reason. *A minimum initial purchase order of 10 books is required with this package.

Our Creative Director will provide graphic design services for the book cover (front, spine and back) under the guidance of the author.

An electronic proof will be provided to the author for approval (for the cover design).

We will have a book launch in our retail store (Books Inn, Inc –
www.books-inn.com) to promote the book and allow the author to individually sign each copy and market the book to the public. The signing will include refreshments and the event will be advertised and promoted via the internet/email/twitter/facebook prior to the launch.

As the publisher, we will work with the author to promote the book in various retail locations.

The electronic version of the book will be uploaded to Lightning Source Inc. Lightning Source distributes books through Ingram Book Company and maintains relationships with a comprehensive portfolio of booksellers. Lightning Source continually updates their distribution partners through catalogue feeds so books instantly receive extensive market exposure. Your book will always be available to all Ingram customers – over 30,000 wholesalers, retailers, and booksellers in over 100 countries.

In April 2008, On Demand Books (our partner and supplier of the Expresso Book Machine and EspressNet software) announced a strategic partnership with Lightning Source to share expertise and create a future collaborative digital platform for books. Under the agreement, On Demand Books has the use of Lightning Source’ digital conversion facilities and the right to print Lightning Source’ vast library of titles, pending publisher approval. In short, Lightning Source is a catalogue of catalogues and offers millions of titles to consumers.

The electronic version of the book will be uploaded to the Scribd Store – www.scribd.com – this is the world’s first on-line document store that makes selling easy and buying fun. The Scribd Store ensures that the seller receives 80% of the revenue and your book will be also available on most future mobile and e-reader devices.
